How to install & setup Node.js on Amazon EC2

nodejs1If you are an educator or developer looking to try out Node.js but do not have a ‘live’ server to work on, Kostas Mavropalias has done a great job of putting together a tutorial of setting up an Amazon EC2 server with Node for development. I won’t steal his thunder here by recounting any of the steps here, but he does cover the following:

  2. Launch an EC2 instance (web server)
